Mass calculating formula:
Density of brass 8.48 grams per cubic centimeter
Round rod Diameter in mm x 0.0066523 = mass in kg/meter
Square bar Width across flat in mm x 0.00848 = mass in kg/meter
Hexagon rod Width across flat in mm x 0.007335 = mass in kg/meter
Oxtagon

Width across flat in mm x 0.009567 = mass in kg/meter
Rectangular bar Width in mm x thickness in mm x 0.00848 = mass in kg/meter
Round tube 2.663 x wall thickness in mm x (O.D. in mm minus wall thickness in mm) = mass in kg/meter
Irregular shapes Cross-sectional area in mm x 0.00848 = mass kg/meter.
