Low Fuming Bronze - Brazing Rod - C681 |
Copflo low fuming bronze is a low melting point brazing rod, easy to
work with and excellent for sheet metal work.
- Copflo weld deposits are non-porous, ensuring leak proof joints for
oil, gas and water lines.
- Copflo possesses a high tensile strength and excellent ductility.
- The weld deposit changes rapidly from a fluid to a solid state.
- Preheating is required for certain applications and Copflo comes
highly recommended.
Copflo brazing rod/filler metal is heated to melting temperature above
450 °C (842 °F) and distributed between two or more close-fitting parts by
capillary action. At its liquid temperature, the molten filler metal and
flux interacts with a thin layer of the base metal, cooling to form a
strong, sealed joint.
