Nickel Silver - Brazing Rod - C773 |
This is our standard size range. A wide range of non-standard
intermediate sizes is available on request.
Introduction
Copflo (10%) is a high temperature, high strength corrosion resistant
nickel brazing alloy that is primarily used for the joining of steel to
steel or carbide to steel. Due to the high flow point, it is recommend the
use of flux. Because of the zinc content, it is recommended that the heat
cycle is kept to a minimum to prevent any vaporizing of the zinc.
Copflo
10% can be used for or brazing tungsten carbides, copper alloys, nickel
alloys, stainless steels, carbon steels, and cast iron. Excellent color
match to stainless steel. A superior alternative in terms of color match,
joint strength and machinability. Copflo nickel brazing rod is a low cost
alternative to silver brazing alloys.

Copflo - Suitable to Braze or Weld
Copper alloys, nickel alloys, cast iron, stainless steel and steel.
Uses for Copflo
- Brazing or oxyacetylene welding of steel or cast iron where a good
colour match is required;
- Building up or overlaying worn parts such as gear teeth, bearings
and valve seats;
- Brazing tungsten carbites, nickel alloys, copper alloys, stainless
steel and carbon steels.
Copflo Advantages
- High strength
- Low residual stress
- Easy machinability
- Less susceptible to cracking
C773 - Low fuming Bronze (10%)
|
- Minimizes distortion and thermal stress
- Soft and ductile weld deposits
- Welding or filler joint are made at lower temperature than gas
or arc welding
